Spa - Sales and Service

What to look for when selecting an ethical spa dealer:

The thought of adding a spa to a home may sound very appealing, but if you do not make a wise decision it could either turn into a nightmare or an unused toy in your house.

When selecting a spa for your home you should select a dealer that:

  1. Has a showroom in your city.

  2. Shows you a copy of their insurance cover letter.

  3. Ask how they handle problems and complaints.

  4. Understand the warranty completely.

  5. Get everything in writing, make sure what is in the contract is actually what is going into your house.

  6. Never be pressured into making a decision today.

  7. There are many brands of nice spas, but the service and installation is the key. Make sure that the company that sells you the spa is also going to service the spa.

  8. Do not count on subcontractors to service other dealer’s spas. The odds are that it will not work out.

The important thing to understand about a spa is to make sure that you do your research about the type of motor being used. An ethical spa dealer will fully understand the importance of the motors and will take the time to educate you.

What to avoid when selecting a business in this industry:

  1. Buying over the internet. You may save a few dollars in sales tax, but the odds are you will not have service if there is a problem.

  2. Buying a spa from an out of area dealer. It may be a service nightmare. Why take the chance.

  3. A dealer that does not show you there insurance. If your spa is installed incorrectly, the dealer and installer better be covered.

  4. Dealers that will not provide you a detailed estimate.

  5. Dealers that apply pressure.

  6. Dealers that do not spend the time to educate you about the importance of having the proper motor.

  7. You get what you pay for. If you want a spa, spend the money necessary to get it installed correctly by the dealer.

After interviewing and running an extensive background check the National Association Against Consumer Fraud has awarded the following business a listing in The Business A-List:

Why Choice Pool and Spa was offered the opportunity to be a Business A-List participant?

Choice Pool and Spa really understands the importance of real customer satisfaction. Rob Lawler, the owner, is very familiar with the reality of purchasing a spa. In most cases a consumer is so excited when there new spa arrives. After the initial joy of delivery, unless the spa is installed correctly by the dealer there may be problems.

It is very important to have reputable installers that are insured.
