Residential / Commercial
Carpet Cleaning

What to look for when selecting an ethical carpet cleaning company:

When selecting any contractor to do work on your home or commercial carpets you should select a company that:

  1. Shows you their business license before being asked.

  2. Shows you a copy of their insurance cover letter.

  3. Verify and actually call references.

  4. Ask how they handle problems and complaints.

  5. Get everything in writing, make sure what is in the contract is actually what is going tom be done.

  6. Never be pressured into making a decision today.

  7. In most cases it is impossible to determine the final cost of a project over the phone; in reality the consumer is just being “low-balled”. It is wise to work with companies that take the time to give an in person estimate, therefore you will not be shocked at the final bill.

  8. It is very important to select a certified (IICRC) carpet cleaning professional. Many companies are certified and that is good, BUT, it is important that the person that is actually cleaning YOUR carpets is certified. It does no you no good to select a qualified business if the person that is actually doing the work and making the decisions is not qualified.

  9. An ethical carpet cleaner will ask you about your carpet and clean according to manufacturer specifications.

  10. It is important that you are able to communicate with the professional doing work at your house.

The important thing to understand about a carpet cleaner is to make sure that you are comfortable with the person you select.

What to avoid when selecting a business in this industry:

  1. A contractor that does not show you their business license. There are many companies that act like real businesses, but in reality they are not operating legally. Why reward them.

  2. A business that does not show you their insurance. If someone is injured on the job and is not insured the consumer may be liable. Why take that chance?

  3. Companies that play price games.

  4. Companies that will not provide you a detailed estimate.

  5. Companies that apply pressure.

  6. Companies that will not let you call customers. Most happy clients are happy to talk.

  7. You get what you pay for. If you want qualified and insured professionals, you may need to pay a little more, but in most cases it is money well spent.

  8. Companies that make guarantees that appear too good to be true.

  9. Companies that do not check to determine that they are cleaning the carpets according to manufacturer specifications. In many cases your warranty will be voided.

  10. Under no circumstances is it wise to have a person clean your carpets that is not certified.

After interviewing and running an extensive background check the National Association Against Consumer Fraud has awarded the following business a listing in The Business A-List:

A Clean Solution, LLC

Phone (919) 878-1915

Why A Clean Solution, LLC was offered the opportunity to be a Business A-List participant?

After spending time with Brian Scot Neal, the owner of A Clean Solution LLC, it is obvious how important ethics is in building their business. Mr. Neal is very hands on and is on site at every one of their jobs, and makes sure that the carpets are not only clean, but cleaned correctly. After researching the industry it is very clear that many companies are not insured and take very little pride in making sure that your warranty is protected.
