  8. Look for a company that accepts credit cards or checks.

  9. They should be able to tell you specific information about their company, like average response times and a specific price for what you're looking for.

  10. Look for a company that provides you with a written detailed contract before your vehicle is towed.

  1. How long have you been in business?

  2. What type of liability insurance do you have?

  3. What are your office hours? Do you offer 24 hour towing?

  4. How long will it take you to get here?

  5. How far will you tow, and for what rate?

  6. Will they tow you to a garage of your choice?

  7. Do they take credit cards or checks?

  8. Are you familiar with the garage I would like to tow the car to?

  1. A company that uses scare tactics to get you to use their services.

  2. A company that will not show you proof of insurance.

  3. A company whose trucks look in disrepair.

  4. A company that only offers to tow you back to their property or a garage that they are pushing?

  5. A company that doesn’t have a physical address.

  6. A company that will not accept credit cards or checks and tries to make you pay cash.

  7. A company that will not provide you with a written contract.

  8. A company that plays price games over the phone or tells you they will come out quicker for an extra charge.
